Kejriwal never ever honoured any woman associate of his–Adesh Gupta
Kejriwal removed woman ministers from his govt both in 2015 and 2020 thus showing his anti-woman attitude-Adesh Gupta
New Delhi, 18 March. The Delhi BJP President, Shri Adesh Gupta, on Thursday charged the Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal with being anti-woman as his government had removed the women from its governments both in 2015 and in 2020. So much so that even his behaviour towards women IAS officers has been rather uncivilized.
He said while interacting with party workers during his mandal camping programme and discussing organisation’s expansion in Rohtash Nagar assembly segments of Ashok Nagar, Ram Nagar, Rohtash Nagar and Welcome Colony. The party’s general secretaries Shri Harsh Malhotra and Shri Dinesh Partap Singh addressed these meetings and Naveen Shadara district president, Shri Vinod Kumar, General Secretary Smt Meenakshi, mandal president Shri Ritesh Suji, Shri Anil Kataria, Shri Rajesh Singh and Shri Sanjiv Mittal were present on the occasion. The state vice presidents Shri Virender Sachdeva and Shri Gaurav Khari were also there. The MLA Shri Jitender Mahajan and councilors Smt Reena Maheshwari and Smt Suman Lata Nagar and Shri Parvesh Sharma and Shri Ajay Sharma also briefed him about their corporation’s work and activities.
Shri Adesh Gupta, while addressing workers at these meetings, exhorted them to expose the anti woman attitude of Arvind Kejriwal. In fact, he said whether it was his NGO’s time aide Santosh Koli who died in a mysterious accident or AAP’s Narela associate Soni Mishra who had to commit suicide because of sexual harassment by her own male colleagues in the AAP, Sh Kejriwal never ever respected a woman. This was also the reason why from Smt Kiran Bedi to Smt Richa Pandey, all those women who were then active in AAP were compelled to leave the party, he charged.
The Delhi BJP president said from 1993 to 2013 all the governments in Delhi had women representation but when Kejriwal came to power in 2015 and again in 2020, the women were simply removed from the cabinet which shows kejriwal’s anti-women mindset. Not only women were kept out of the cabinet, but chief minister’s behaviour with women IAS officers has been rather uncivilized and cases in point are Smt Shakuntla Gamlin and Smt Varsha Joshi, he added.
Similarly, Kejriwal has so far not taken any disciplinary action against MLAs Sandeep Kumar, Somnath Bharti, Amantullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal despite there being complaints of their indecent behaviour with some women from different sections of the society, he charged.
